SICC is a Canadian strategic conglomerate that operates as a holding company and runs four verticals as one delivery platform: Real Estate Development, Advanced Industries, International Initiatives and Trade, and Ventures. Our Platform Thinking approach aligns strategy, capital, approvals, and delivery end to end, establishing a single accountable line from concept to operations across Canada, Oman, Mexico and Latin America, Africa and the United States.
We have established an internal Think Tank that guides two complementary strategy streams: Future Thinking to explore possible and plausible scenarios, and Rethink using Decision Making under Deep Uncertainty (DMDU) to choose resilient paths when outcomes and parameters are unclear. This work informs our generative vision for
the New Built Environment, which integrates Built, Nature, and Cypher (digital) systems and advances two guiding horizons: the Industry 4.0 to 5.0 paradigm shift and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our core value framework is SEE Value: Social (social and human capital), Environmental (natural capital), and Economic (financial and manufacturing capital). We translate SEE Value into investment choices, delivery priorities, and performance
metrics. SICC’s value-based business model builds on mass customization, centralized vision with decentralized execution, platform thinking, an integrated delivery system, and economies of scale.
SICC is supported by international investors, including Solar International Oman (SIO), and is governed at owner level by the Conglomerate Board. Originating from the Duqm Green Refinery program in Oman, SICC has scaled this model into Core Investment Portfolios and an expanding North American pipeline.
